I play a a few hours a day (cumulatively), only ever in the EASY category, and it comes down to three main elements: skill, luck, and nimbleness (which includes patience not to fumble).

The top 0:57 I achieved only 15 minutes ago of writing this, and it came from a very lucky easier-than-usual game. I doubt I'll be beating it for a while to come - I honestly don't think my fingers or my wits are fast enough.
