I recently changed phones from Droid to Samsung Galaxy S5. I no longer have access to the "undo" and other options under that menu. The feedback option is also gone. How can I get these things back? I Uninstalled and then reinstalled to see if that would fix it, but it did not. Also, I think I had upgraded version before as I did not have to deal with ads. Please help!
Hi lampshade. I have, in the past, insisted that people had to be cheating to get some of the times being posted. I am an intelligent person and thought I played the game as fast as humanly possible. At one time, I thought there was no way people could be solving puzzles faster than ME! Then, I took a reality pill and came down off my high horse. I do believe, now, that most of the times posted are legitimate. I'm not saying there isn't any cheating going on, but it is irrelevant. I now play to beat my own scores and ignore the rest. I don't care if I have the fastest score. I care only that I was faster than my last score. My times have improved over time and I'm sure they will continue to do so. Although, lately, my brain is in a funk and I can't solve anything lol.
Okay - I'm going to swallow my pride here and admit I was wrong. It was egotistical of me to think that times much better than my own must be a result of cheating. After reading many posts and watching the video of the girl who completes an easy puzzle in 30 something secs, I realize these times are possible. I apologize to every one I insulted by stating you must have cheated to have such low completion times. It is just a game - a game I enjoy playing. Suggesting some one cheated was really just an attempt to feel better about my own scores and that is ridiculous. In the future, I will see these low scores as incentives for me to improve my game.
Reading through all these posts really opened my eyes. I assumed everyone played the game like as I do. I don't use any of the "help" you can choose in the settings - not even the colored grid. What is the purpose of that. You can't do that on paper and I average about the same times in a soduko book. I like to play the game and the more you play, the better you get. My best time for expert is 6:09. I'm proud of that score and used no "help" to get it. It does depend on the puzzle though. There have been puzzles that took me 20 min. and I imagine there will continue to be. We are comparing apples to oranges here. Sure, if you are quick with your thumbs - as the young lady in the video - and you are using all the "help" the game offers, then, yes, I can see times as those being posted. With that being said, I don't understand the challenge in doing so.
My best time in easy is 1:46, but I average - on a daily basis - 2 - 3 min.
My best extreme time is 6:29. I imagine there are people out there capable of beating that. With that said, I find uploaded times of 33 secs - even on easy puzzles - to be impossible and frustrating. As others have said, I just want to see how I compare to honest players. With only 20 or even 100 scores posted, I have no chance of seeing my scores or where I really stand. Perhaps the cheaters are pleased with themselves because they figured out how to beat the system and take pride in it. I think that is very sad - if they will cheat or find a way around the rules in a game, they probably take the same approach to life - and that is sad.
